Ark Veterinary Hospital is a highly motivated and competent team of individuals, who are committed to providing high quality veterinary medical care with an emphasis on compassion and concern for both patient and owner. We strive to earn our clients’ trust and loyalty by providing educational and medical care that exceeds expectations and provides their pets with a superior quality of life.

rogerdiagnostic2Dr. Roger Redman graduated from The Ohio State University with his bachelor's degree in 1985. He went on to attend graduate school in reproductive physiology prior to entering O.S.U. College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and has been in private practice since that time.

Dr. Redman is a native of Wayne County and the Wooster area. Roger returned home to practice veterinary medicine and purchased The Ark Veterinary Hospital in 1992. He dedicates much of his free time to the community through his involvement in civic activities including participation in the Wooster Rotary Club, acting as a 4-H advisor and serving on various agency boards. Dr. Redman now serves on the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors. Married with two children, Dr. Redman enjoys boating, fishing, water skiing and other water activities. He and his family regularly attend church and community events.

 

drsfavxray150x125Dr. Kristen M. Scrafford grew up in New York state. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University and is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology and nutrition but is passionate about all areas of the veterinary field.

Dr. Scrafford currently resides in West Salem. Away from the Ark, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking and gardening. However, she says "When I must be indoors, you will always find me cooking. Unlike my approach to veterinary medicine, my approach to cooking involves no plan or rules".

Being a new member of the Wooster area, she is always looking for ways to become involved in the community.  She is a member of O.V.M.A. and the A.V.M.A.
